Heading out on a long road trip next week and I'm bringing my probiotic gummies. Anyone know if they melt in a hot car? Also, any tips for storing them on the go? Don't want to end up with a sticky mess.

Great question! I travel a lot for research and bring my gummies. For flights, TSA is fine with them in solid form—just keep them in original packaging or a clear bag. For heat, I use a small insulated pouch with an ice pack for road trips. They can soften but won't fully melt unless it's scorching. Try keeping them in a cooler.

I always toss mine in a ziplock bag and stash them in my carry-on. Pro tip: if they do melt, just pop them in the fridge—they'll reharden. Also, I've had TSA give a quick glance but no issues. Happy travels!

To add some science: gummy melting point is around 100°F (38°C). So if it's hot, they might get soft, but not a puddle. I'd suggest a small insulated container. Also, if you're hiking, eat them early or store in a shaded pocket. But they're pretty stable.

Thanks everyone! Gonna grab an insulated pouch and bring a ziplock just in case. Safe travels, y'all!
