THREAD: Found probiotic gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand probiotic gummies marked down to like half price. Normally I get the fancy ones from Whole Foods but this deal seems insane. Do you think the lower price means they're lower quality? Or is this just a total steal I should stock up on? Worried they might be less effective or have fillers.

Med student here - good question! Price doesn't always correlate with quality in supplements. Check the label: look for CFU count (colony-forming units), strain diversity (like Lactobacillus or Bifidobacterium), and expiration date. Sometimes store brands use similar manufacturers as name brands. Costco's Kirkland stuff is usually decent quality for the price. If the specs match your usual brand, it's probably a steal.

OMG I literally just posted about this on my stories! I've tried SO many probiotic gummies. The fancy ones often have extra 'wellness' marketing but similar ingredients. Kirkland's version has 5 billion CFU per serving which is solid for daily maintenance. The texture is a bit chewier than my fave brand but for the price?? Total steal girl! Stock up while you can - gut health is everything ✨

Marathon runner perspective: I go through probiotic gummies like crazy during training season. Tried the Costco ones last month when my usual was out of stock. Honestly noticed zero difference in my digestion or energy levels. Saved a ton of $$ too. As long as they're not expired and have live cultures, you're good. Pro tip: check if they need refrigeration though - some cheaper ones don't, which might affect potency.

Thanks everyone!! This is super helpful. Going back to Costco tomorrow to grab a few bottles. JoyfulJack121 - checked the label and CFU count is actually higher than my usual brand. GlowGigi652 - love your content btw! MountainMike373 - good call on refrigeration, these are shelf-stable but within date. Appreciate the real-world experiences!
