So my 5-year-old just sneaked a whole handful of the probiotic gummies I bought. I thought they were safe in the pantry, but he found them. Now I’m worried about overdose – can that happen? Also, how do you keep your kids from treating these like candy? 😩

Oh boy, reminds me of my grandson. He did the same thing last month. I called poison control – they said too many can cause stomach upset but usually not serious. Just watch for diarrhea. Now I keep ’em in a locked cabinet. Kids are sneaky!

Ugh, same here. My husband thought they were regular gummies and ate half the jar. I was like, 'babe, those are supplements!' Now I label the bottle with a big red sticker: 'NOT CANDY.' Also, I hide them behind the oatmeal. 😂

I’m keto so I don’t touch those sugary things, but my wife uses them. We had to put a child lock on the pantry because our youngest kept sneaking them. Pro tip: get the sugar-free kind if you can, but still hide them. Kids are like little detectives.

This is exactly why I’m skeptical of gummy supplements. They’re basically candy with added bacteria. I just give my kids the chewable tablets – less appealing. But seriously, hope your little one is fine. Maybe try a different form next time?
