Help! My toddler thinks the new probiotic gummies are candy!

So I bought those new probiotic gummies for my 4 year old. He's got a sweet tooth like me, so I figured they'd be a hit. Well, now he's sneaking them. I found him standing on a chair reaching for the jar. I swear, they look exactly like fruit snacks. Anyone else have this problem? Should I hide them or just let him have extra? He's not getting sick from the probiotics, is he?

Oh man, I've been there! My kid used to think the fiber gummies were candy. I'd say lock 'em up high or in a cabinet with a child lock. My husband once ate like 5 of them thinking they were gummy bears... turns out they were my laxative gummies. Let's just say he didn't sleep well that night. As for probiotics, too many might cause a tummy ache or gas. Maybe stick to the recommended dose and find a non-food reward system?

I don't have kids, but I've seen my keto friends struggle with their own 'treats'. Honestly, I avoid gummies because of the sugar. But if you're worried about overconsumption, maybe get a gummy that doesn't look so candy-like? Or keep them in a lockbox. Kids are sneaky. And yeah, too much probiotics can cause digestive issues. Not dangerous, but uncomfortable.

Thanks guys. I think I'll move them to the top shelf and maybe explain to him that they're medicine, not candy. Or maybe I'll just switch to chewable tablets. They look less appealing. Appreciate the tips!
