Is the probiotic in these gummies even real? New study says...

Just read this study (PMID: 34567890) claiming that Bacillus coagulans in gummies survives stomach acid better than capsules. But the sample size was tiny (n=30) and funded by a supplement company. Thoughts? Legit or just marketing fluff? I'm suspicious of any study pushing gummies over pills.

Honestly, I doubt any probiotic survives well in a gummy due to heat and moisture during manufacturing. I take my probiotics in capsule form during my eating window (IF 16:8). But hey, if it works for you, go for it. I'd want to see more independent studies though.

Mike, I saw that study too! The tech they used to measure viability seemed legit—they used flow cytometry. But yeah, funding bias is a thing. I'm more curious if the gummies actually taste good and don't melt in my pocket (I carry my phone everywhere lol). Anyone tried the new Olly probiotic gummies?

As a gym rat, I'm all about gut health for recovery. But I'd rather get my probiotics from kefir or sauerkraut—natural sources are bomb. Gummies feel like candy to me, and I try to avoid sugar even in 'healthy' form. What's the sugar content on those anyway?
