Just read a study (PMID: 34567890) claiming Bacillus coagulans in gummies reduces bloating by 40% in 2 weeks. Seems too good to be true. Anyone else seen this? Thoughts on bias?

My grandson takes probiotic gummies and he still gets gassy. 40% in 2 weeks sounds like marketing hype. I'd be cautious.

B. coagulans is well-studied for IBS, but 40% reduction in 2 weeks? That's outlier level. Check the funding – if it's from a supplement company, take it with a grain of salt. I'd wait for replication.

Good point! The study was funded by a probiotic brand. I'll dig into the raw data later. Thanks for the reality check.
