CrystalCathy155Just came across this study (PMID: 32734567) claiming Bacillus coagulans in gummies survives stomach acid way better than capsules. Sounds too good to be true? Anyone else seen this?

SproutSid418I pulled the full text. Small sample size (n=30) and funded by a gummy manufacturer. The survival data looks real but the clinical relevance is weak. Take with a grain of salt.

IvyIron68Ugh, another industry-funded study. I stick to vegan capsules anyway – gummies always have gelatin or pectin from questionable sources. Plus sugar overload.

CrystalCathy155Good points. I'm not vegan but I try to avoid extra sugar in supplements. Maybe I'll stick with my current probiotic powder for now.
