Hey everyone, just came across this study about Lactobacillus strains in gummy supplements (PMID: 12345678). It claims they survive stomach acid way better than capsules. But the funding was from a gummy company... what do you all think? Too good to be true or actually promising?

Interesting find! As a fitness pro, I'm always skeptical of supplement studies with industry ties. BUT - I've personally switched to probiotic gummies this year and my gut feels way better during heavy training cycles. The convenience factor is huge for consistency. Maybe there's some truth here despite the bias?

lol of course it's funded by the company. Classic supplement industry move. Probiotics in gummies? With all that sugar and gelatin? The CFU counts are probably dead by the time they hit shelves. I'd wait for independent replication before trusting this.

Marathon runner here - I've been using probiotic gummies for 6 months and my recovery time improved noticeably! That said, I rotate brands and check third-party testing. The study might be biased, but anecdotally? They work for me. Maybe look for brands with USP verification to be safe?
