Probiotic gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?
So I was at Costco today and saw a huge discount on these probiotic gummies (the brand is usually expensive). It's like 50% off, but I'm a bit worried that maybe they're lower quality or near expiration or something. Has anyone bought these on sale? Is it a steal or a dud?
I'm skeptical too. Big discounts often mean they're clearing out old stock, maybe not as potent. My rule: check the expiration date and see if they're still in date. Also, sometimes they change the formula for sales (cheaper ingredients). Better safe than sorry, especially for probiotics where live cultures matter.
I get those from Costco regularly! The sales are usually just a promotion to get you in the door. I've bought them at full price and on sale, and the bottles look identical, same CFU count. I think it's a legit steal. I'd say grab them before they're gone!
I've noticed that probiotic supplements go on sale when they have a new batch coming in, so the old ones are fine. Just check the 'best by' date - if it's at least a few months out, you're good. I've been using these for a while and they work great for my digestion. Go for it!
I grabbed them during the last sale and they were awesome! I even compared the lot numbers to full-price ones I had before - exactly the same. If you're still unsure, buy one bottle and see how you feel. But I'm stocking up this time 😄
