Probiotic Gummies on the Go – Melting, TSA, and Storage Tips?
Hey everyone! I'm heading on a cross-country road trip next week and I want to bring my probiotic gummies. But I'm worried about them melting in the car, and also what about flying? Could they be a problem at TSA? Any tips for keeping them fresh and safe? Thanks!
I feel you! I'm keto, so my probiotic gummies are my sweet treat. For road trips, I keep mine in a small cooler with an ice pack. They'll be fine as long as they don't get above 75°F or so. For flying, TSA doesn't care about gummies – I've carried them in my carry-on plenty of times. Just keep them in their original container or a zip-lock to avoid any melt mess. Safe travels!
Yep, I've taken my gummies on marathons and flights. The key is to pack them in a hard container to prevent crushing. And if you're worried about heat, put them in your carry-on (in the cabin it's usually cool). I've never had them melt in my bag, even in summer. Also, TSA might just ask what they are, but they're food items, so it's all good.
I'm old school – I just keep them in my purse, but I've had them turn into a blob when I left them in a hot car. So yeah, cooler is smart. For hiking, I'd put them in a small container and pack them with your water bottles to keep them cool. And for TSA, I agree, no issue. I've taken them on international flights too. Just maybe keep the label showing it's a supplement.
