Taking probiotic gummies with my morning coffee – yay or nay?

Hey everyone! I just started taking these probiotic gummies from the brand I see all over here. I usually have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Is it okay to take the gummy with coffee? I read somewhere that heat can kill the probiotics, but coffee isn't that hot by the time I drink it... Anyone tried this combo?

I wouldn't risk it. Coffee is acidic and hot, even if it's cooled a bit. Probiotics are delicate. I take mine with cold water or almond milk. Plus, coffee is a diuretic so it might flush them out too fast. Just my 2 cents.

I'm keto and I take my probiotic gummies with bulletproof coffee all the time. No issues. The heat from coffee isn't enough to kill them unless you're boiling it. I think it's fine. But hey, everyone's gut is different.

Bro, I take my gummies post-workout with my protein shake. That has coffee in it sometimes. Never had a problem. Probiotics are hardy little dudes. As long as you're not microwaving the gummy, you're good. Also, coffee might even help with gut motility if you ask me.

I'd advice against it. Coffee can irritate the gut lining and interfere with probiotic colonization. I take my probiotics on an empty stomach with just water, then wait 30 mins before my herbal tea. But if you must have coffee, maybe take the gummy 2 hours apart from it.
