THREAD: Probiotic Gummies: Do They Actually Work or Just Taste Good?Started by UpliftUrsula

Hey everyone! I've been taking probiotic gummies for about 3 months now and I'm absolutely loving them! My digestion has never been better, and I swear my skin is clearer too. I take them every morning with my green smoothie. Has anyone else noticed similar benefits? I'm curious if they help with energy levels as well - I feel more vibrant but not sure if it's just placebo!

Ursula, I'm skeptical about anything that comes in gummy form. I tried some probiotic gummies last year when my coffee was messing with my stomach. They tasted like candy (which was nice), but I didn't notice any real difference. Maybe I didn't take them long enough? How long did it take for you to see results? Also, are they expensive? I'd rather spend my money on good coffee beans.

As a runner, gut health is crucial for endurance! I've been using probiotic gummies specifically formulated for athletes for about 6 weeks. They're easier to take on the go than capsules. Mike - they can be pricey ($20-30/month), but I've noticed fewer stomach issues during long runs. Ursula, what brand are you using? I'm with Nature's Way right now but open to suggestions!

I'm new to probiotics and meditation, so this is interesting! I started gummies two weeks ago hoping they'd help with anxiety-related digestive issues. They're much easier to remember than pills. No major changes yet, but my meditation teacher says gut health affects mood. Does anyone take them at night? I'm wondering if timing matters...

Cathy - I use Garden of Life! They have 50 billion CFU per serving. Lily, I take mine in the morning but my sister swears by nighttime dosing. Mike, it took about 3-4 weeks for me to notice consistent benefits. Maybe try a different brand? Some have prebiotics too which might help. The cost is worth it for me - cheaper than doctor visits!

Alright, you've convinced me to give it another shot. Cathy's point about stomach issues during activity hits home - sometimes coffee gives me the jitters. Lily, let us know if you see mood benefits! I'll look for something with both probiotics and prebiotics. Any recommendations for someone who hates swallowing pills but doesn't want too much sugar?
