Hey all! I'm about to go on a 10-day trip that involves a plane, a road trip, and some hiking. I'm a big fan of my probiotic gummies and don't want to miss a day. But I'm worried about them melting in my luggage or in the car. Also, do I need to worry about TSA rules? Any tips for keeping them in good shape while traveling?

I've taken gummies on multiple flights. TSA doesn't care about them as long as they're in a reasonable amount (like a personal supply). I put them in a small pill organizer or keep them in the original bottle to avoid any questions. As for melting, they can get soft if left in heat. Put them in your carry-on and keep it close to you. If you're hiking in hot weather, maybe use an insulated pouch or just eat them in the morning before it gets hot.

Green tip: avoid the check-in luggage if possible; carry-on is climate-controlled. But if you have to put them in checked bag, wrap them in a ziplock bag and put them next to your water bottle or something that won't melt to insulate a bit. I've had gummies lose shape but still work fine. I'd say don't stress too much–they can handle a little heat.

Also, keep them dry! Moisture is worse than heat. I once left a bottle in a wet backpack and they got all sticky and clumpy. So use a dry container and maybe toss in a silica gel packet. And for hiking, I just take a few in a small tin–they don't need the whole bottle.

TSA: I usually carry them in my personal item and never had an issue. Just don't bring a huge container. For storage, I'd suggest putting them in a small glass jar (eco-friendly) to avoid plastic, and keep it in a pocket where you can monitor. Enjoy the trip!
