Traveling with probiotic gummies – melt risk?

Hey all! I'm heading on a big trip soon – plane, road trip, and some hiking. I always take my probiotic gummies, but I'm worried about them melting in my bag or getting squished. Anyone have experience with this? Also, TSA rules for gummies? Thanks!

I've carried gummies on flights many times. TSA doesn't care about gummies, just keep them in your carry-on and they're fine. As for melting, I've had some soften on a hot car ride, but they didn't totally melt. Just keep them in a cool place, maybe a cooler if you have one. Also, if you're hiking, put them in a small container that won't get crushed.

I always wrap mine in a paper towel and put them in a ziplock, just in case. I've heard that some gummies can melt if left in a hot car for hours. But they're pretty resilient, honestly. For TSA, they're not a gel or liquid, so no issue. Just make sure they're in a clear bag if you want to be extra safe. Have a great trip!

I'm a paleo guy so I usually avoid gummies, but I've traveled with my kids' gummy vitamins. We've been to Disney in the summer – they survived in a backpack all day, but they were a bit squishy. I'd suggest keeping them in an insulated pouch or even in your pocket (if you're not baking in the sun). Also, if you're hiking, put them in a separate compartment so they don't get crushed by gear. Enjoy your trip!
