Flying with Sea Moss Gummies?
Hey all! I'm heading on a 10-hour flight to Thailand next week and I want to bring my sea moss gummies. Anyone know if they melt or if TSA gives a hard time? Also, any tips for storing them on the go?
I travel with my gummies all the time. TSA doesn't care about gummies – they're not a liquid. Just keep them in the original container if you're worried. As for melting, I've done hot road trips and they got a little soft but didn't melt completely. Pro tip: put them in a cooler bag or in your carry-on near the ice packs.
Wait, are these like the gelatin-based ones? I read that they can absorb moisture and get sticky. Maybe a ziplock bag in a hard case? Also, not sure about the backpacking scenario – I guess if you're hiking in heat, they might turn into goo. Anyone tried dehydrated ones?
I prep my gummies for hiking by chucking them in a small empty bottle that's airtight. Never had melting issues, even in the summer. TSA def doesn't care – they usually don't even glance at them. Just make sure they're sealed so they don't get crushed. Enjoy the trip!
Thanks y'all! I'll go with the airtight bottle in my carry-on. Feeling better about it now. Appreciate the tips!
