Hey everyone! I just started taking sea moss gummies (the ones from that brand with the cute packaging) and I'm wondering if it's okay to take them with my morning coffee. I usually have a cup right after I wake up and take my gummies around the same time. Will the coffee cancel out the benefits or cause any issues? Thanks!

I've been taking sea moss gummies for a few months now and I always have them with coffee. Honestly, I haven't noticed any problems. But I'm not sure if the coffee affects absorption. Maybe wait 30 mins? Curious what others say.

I'm a granola parent so I'm all about natural synergy. Coffee is acidic and sea moss is alkaline, so theoretically they might neutralize each other? But I think the bigger issue is the gummies themselves – many have added sugars and junk. If you're taking them for the minerals, coffee might inhibit some absorption. I'd space them out by at least an hour. Just my two cents!

I've been mixing sea moss gummies in my coffee! I just drop them in and let them dissolve. It's like a superfood latte. I feel great! No issues so far. But I'm pretty laid back about stuff like this. Maybe check with your doc if you're worried?

Thanks for the replies! I think I'll try spacing them out and see if I notice a difference. SolarSam, I never thought of dissolving them in coffee – that's interesting! Might try that if I'm in a rush.
