Just saw this article about sea moss gummies blowing up on TikTok. What do you guys think? Is it just hype or is there something to it? I'm all for natural supplements but I'm skeptical of social media fads.

I've been taking sea moss gummies for a few months now. I work nights and my energy was crashing. These things actually help me stay awake without the jitters from coffee. Not sure if it's placebo but I feel better.

As a med student I'm always wary of unregulated supplements. Sea moss has some decent nutrients - iodine, zinc, etc. But the amounts in gummies are often low and variable. The real benefit might just be the placebo effect from the TikTok hype. Still, if it encourages people to eat more veggies, that's a win.

Anyone check the sugar content in those gummies? Most of them are loaded with sugar! I'm on a strict no-sugar diet, so I make my own sea moss gel instead. Cheaper and you know what's in it.

Good point about sugar. I'll stick to the gel form too. Thanks for the tip!
