Hey guys, I bought a bottle of sea moss gummies about a month ago and they've turned into basically hard nuggets. They also have some white spots on them. I think it's sugar bloom? Anyone else had this happen? Are they still safe to eat or should I toss 'em?

Yo, that's common with gummies if they get exposed to moisture or temp changes. The white is likely sugar crystallizing - harmless. But if they're hard as rocks, they might be a choking hazard. I'd still eat them if they don't smell off, just be careful. Maybe store them in a cool dry place next time.

I'm a digital nomad so I've had gummies go through all sorts of climates. If they're just hard and have sugar bloom, they're fine. But if they have any weird mold or smell, ditch 'em. Pro tip: put a silica packet in the bottle to keep moisture out. Safe travels, and gummies!

Thanks guys! I think it's just sugar bloom then, no weird smell. I'll try the silica packet trick. And yeah, they're a bit tough but I'll chew carefully. Appreciate the advice!
