Sea Moss Gummies: Unexpected Skin Glow?
Hey everyone! So I started taking sea moss gummies for better sleep (heard it helps with magnesium), but after about 3 weeks I noticed my skin looks... glowing? Not just a little, but like, noticeably clearer and more radiant. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not complaining, just curious if it's a known effect.
That's actually not surprising. Sea moss is packed with minerals like zinc, sulfur, and vitamins A and C, which are all involved in skin health and collagen production. The iodine can also support thyroid function, which indirectly affects skin. So it's plausible, though individual results vary. Glad it's working for you!
Yo Mila! Same thing happened to me! Started for digestion, ended up with my face looking like I got a facial. I've read that sea moss has this thing called 'mucilage' that helps hydrate the skin from the inside. Plus it's natural, no chemicals. Love it! Keep glowing!
Interesting data point. I've been tracking biomarkers and noticed improved skin elasticity in my last DEXA scan after adding sea moss. The sulfated polysaccharides might have anti-inflammatory effects. Also, the increased iodine can boost metabolism, which might speed up cell turnover. Not a bad side effect for a sleep supplement.
Thanks for the input, guys! @AlphaAdam that makes sense, I didn't know about the sulfur. @GreenGreg877 glad I'm not alone! @XenonX wow, a DEXA scan? That's next level. I'll just enjoy the glow and hope the sleep catches up soon 😉
