Traveling with Sea Moss Gummies – Do they survive the journey?

Hey all, headed on a 2-week backpacking trip through the Rockies. I swear by my sea moss gummies for immunity and energy, but I’m worried about them melting in my pack or getting flagged at TSA. Anyone have experience flying or hiking with these? Specifically, do they get gooey over 80°F? And are they considered a 'gel' for carry-on restrictions? Thanks!

I’ve flown with sea moss gummies multiple times (domestic and international). TSA hasn’t batted an eye – they’re solid, not a gel, so no issue there. For melting, I keep them in a small insulated pouch or even a mini cooler if it’s really hot. Haven’t had any melt on me yet, but I’d avoid leaving them in direct sun for hours. Also, pour a silica gel pack in the container to keep moisture out. Safe travels!

Dude, I take mine on every road trip and to the gym. They hold up fine in a tupperware in my bag, even when it’s 90°F outside. But if you’re hiking in serious heat, maybe toss them in a ziplock inside your insulated water bottle sleeve? That’s what I do. Never had a problem with TSA either, they’re just supplements. Have a killer trip, man!

Awesome, thanks for the tips! I’ll grab an insulated pouch and some silica packs. Good to know TSA doesn’t care. Appreciate the quick replies!
