Hey everyone, just came across this article about Shilajit and thought I'd share. Looks like it's been used in Ayurvedic medicine forever. Article summary: "A Quick Introduction to Shilajit - Shilajit, a sticky, tar-like substance that oozes from Himalayan rocks, has been a cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Traditionally revered as a 'dest..." Has anyone here tried shilajit in gummy form? I've seen a few brands popping up lately. Thoughts?

lol tar-like substance? sounds like my morning coffee before i add creamer 😂 but seriously, i tried some shilajit gummies last month from that brand "peak vitality" or something. took them for like 2 weeks. didnt really notice much diff? maybe a slight energy boost but coulda been placebo. def didnt taste like tar tho, they were berry flavored. anyone else get actual results?

Important to consider sourcing!!! Shilajit comes from fragile Himalayan ecosystems. Is it harvested sustainably? Many companies exploit local communities and damage the environment for profit. I'd want full transparency: fair trade, organic certification, and minimal processing. That "sticky substance" is sacred in its origin—reducing it to a candy feels... disrespectful? But if it's ethically sourced, could make traditional medicine more accessible.

My kids saw these at the health food store and begged me to get them because they look like fruit snacks 😅 I'm wary though—what's the actual ingredient list? Is it pure shilajit or mixed with junk? And dosage for children? My 8-year-old doesn't need adaptogens, but if it's safe and clean, maybe for my teen's stress during exams? Would love to hear from parents who've given these to their families.

yoga yara u make a good point, i didnt even think about that. the bottle i got just said "pure himalayan shilajit" but who knows. olivia the ones i had had like 10 ingredients, mostly organic stuff but also "natural flavors" and pectin. prob not for little kids. my advice: chug an espresso instead, cheaper and guaranteed to work 💪
