Okay so I've been seeing these Shilajit gummies everywhere and I'm tempted to try them, but I just checked the label on one brand and it has like 4g of sugar per serving! That feels like a candy, not a supplement. I'm trying to keep my sugar intake low for my gains, and I don't want to undo my workout. For those who take Shilajit gummies, does the sugar really matter? Or is there a better way to get shilajit without the extra junk?

Honestly, I get it, Nina. But think of the gummies as a treat that also gives you nutrients. I mean, I'd rather have a gummy with a bit of sugar than force down that resin that tastes like bitter tar. And 4g isn't that bad - it's like less than an apple. Plus, shilajit is known for energy and focus, so a little sugar kick doesn't hurt, right? Just don't eat the whole bottle lol.

I used to think the same thing, but I switched to a brand that uses organic cane sugar and it's still 3g per gummy. I take them for the adaptogenic benefits, and I figure a little sugar is worth the convenience. But if you're really strict, maybe try the liquid dropper version? It's less sweet but still has that earthy taste. Or you could mix the resin into your smoothie. But let's be real, gummies are just easier for us busy people. #guiltypleasure

Thanks for the input guys. I guess I'm just wary because I've been down the 'gummy vitamin' road before and ended up with more sugar than nutrients. But you're right, the convenience might be worth it. Maybe I'll try the gummies but with a lower sugar brand. Do you have any recs for low-sugar shilajit gummies that actually taste alright?
