Mixing Shilajit Gummies with Coffee? Safe or a Bad Idea?

Hey everyone, just got some shilajit gummies and I'm wondering if it's okay to take them with my morning coffee. I usually have a strong cup right when I wake up, and I'm thinking of popping a gummy then too. Anyone tried this combo? Does it mess with absorption or cause jitters? Thanks!

OP, I've experimented with this! As an amateur chef, I love playing with food combos. I tried taking my shilajit gummy with black coffee for a week. Honestly, didn't notice any issues—no jitters or stomach upset. But I did read that caffeine might slightly reduce mineral absorption? Not sure if that's a big deal with gummies since they're already formulated. Maybe try having the gummy 30 mins before coffee to be safe. Also, if you add milk to your coffee, the calcium could interfere more. Just my two cents!

As a granola parent, I'm all about natural supplements, but mixing with coffee gives me pause. Coffee is acidic and can affect gut health, which might impact how well the shilajit is absorbed. My family takes shilajit gummies with a glass of water or herbal tea instead—much gentler! Also, check the labels for additives; some gummies have sugar that doesn't pair well with caffeine crashes. Better to keep it simple and separate, IMO. Safety first for our bodies!

Marathon runner here—I need all the energy and recovery help I can get! I've combined shilajit gummies with coffee pre-run a few times. No bad effects, and I felt a nice sustained boost without the coffee crash. But I only do it occasionally; for daily use, I space them out. Maybe have coffee first, then the gummy after your run? That way you're not overloading your system. Also, stay hydrated—both can be dehydrating. Listen to your body and maybe start slow!
