Hey everyone! I'm about to embark on a 2-week trip that involves a plane ride, a road trip, and some hiking. I want to bring my Shilajit gummies but I'm worried about them melting in my luggage or during the hike. Also, any tips on TSA rules for gummy supplements? Should I keep them in the original bottle? Any advice would be awesome!

I've traveled with gummies before! The key is to keep them in your carry-on if you can, because checked baggage can get really hot and cold. I've never had mine melt, but they can get soft. I usually put them in a small insulated pouch or even a thermos to keep them stable. For TSA, as long as they're in the original bottle or clearly labeled, you should be fine. I've brought them through many times without issues. Just don't bring a huge quantity.

Melting is a real concern, especially in summer. I've had my gummies turn into a blob in my backpack on a hike. Now I always double-bag them in a ziplock and keep them inside a cooler if I'm bringing them in the car. For hiking, I put them in a small container with a silica gel packet to absorb moisture. And don't forget, if they do melt, you can refrigerate them to firm up, but they'll be misshapen. TSA-wise, just make sure they're in solid form and not a liquid or gel, so you're good.

I'm a nature photographer, so I'm always packing gummies for trips. My tip: keep them in a cool, dry place, and avoid leaving them in direct sunlight. I once left them on the dashboard of my car and they were a disaster. Also, for hiking, I use a tiny tin or a contact lens case to carry a few days' worth. It's lightweight and protects them. And yes, TSA doesn't care about gummies as long as they're not liquids or gels. I've even had them in my backpack without a label and no one questioned it.

Traveling with supplements is a breeze if you do it right! I'm a wellness influencer, so I always have my gummies with me. My rule: always carry them in the original packaging to avoid any questions. Also, for melting, you can freeze them for a few hours before your trip – that helps them stay solid longer. And if you're worried about TSA, they're just like any other solid supplement. I've flown dozens of times with them, never had a problem. Safe travels!
