Hey guys, I've been taking Shilajit gummies from a popular brand for about a month. I left the bottle in my car for 2 days (it was hot out) and now they're clumped together and almost hard as a rock. Some have a white powdery coating. Are they still safe to eat? I really don't want to waste them.

Classic heat damage. The white powder is sugar bloom – completely harmless. The hardness is from moisture loss. They're safe but might not be as potent. Shilajit's fulvic acid can degrade with heat. I'd toss 'em if they're rock hard. Not worth the GI risk. Lesson: store in a cool dark place.

Personally I've eaten gummies that were crunchy AF from being in my gym bag. No issues. But Shilajit is different – it's like concentrated minerals? If they're rock hard might be a choking hazard. I'd smash em up and mix into coffee or tea.

Heat + moisture = bad news for gummies. Sugar bloom is OK, but if they're that hard the texture is gonna be nasty. Also check the bottle – some Shilajit gummies have a low melting point. I had a batch do that and the company replaced them. Might be worth reaching out to support.

Dude, just eat them. They're vitamins. I've eaten gummies that were in my truck for weeks. Your stomach acid will dissolve anything. But yeah, they might taste like cardboard. Pro tip: keep them in the fridge next time. My shilajit gummies are always in the butter compartment.
