THREAD: Traveling with Shilajit Gummies - Do they melt? TSA rules?Started by OP

Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip that involves flying, some road tripping, and even a bit of hiking. I've been taking Shilajit gummies daily and don't want to miss my dose. Has anyone traveled with these before? Do they melt in heat? What about TSA rules - are they cool with gummy supplements? Any storage tips would be awesome!

Honestly, why bother? Shilajit is mostly marketing hype anyway. But if you insist, just throw them in your checked bag. They're not illegal, so TSA won't care. Heat might make them sticky though - seen it happen with other gummies. Probably better off taking a break during travel, your body won't notice.

Ooh I travel with gummies all the time! The texture can get weird if they get warm - like chewy blobs. Pro tip: put them in a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack if you're road tripping. For flights, keep them in your carry-on in the original bottle so TSA can see the label. The taste might suffer if they melt though - ruined a batch of my favorite berry gummies last summer!

Get a mini thermoelectric cooler! I use one for all my supplements when traveling. Connects to USB in the car or with a portable battery pack. For hiking, vacuum-seal them with a small desiccant pack to prevent moisture. TSA is fine with supplements as long as they're not liquid over 3.4oz. I scan the regulations page on my phone before every trip.

Ugh travel messes with ALL my routines. I bring my shilajit gummies AND my caffeine pills everywhere. Airport security has never stopped me for gummies - they're too busy with liquids. But yeah, heat is the enemy. I keep mine in the hotel minifridge when I arrive. Road trip tip: don't leave them in the glove box! Learned that the hard way last year - had to scrape gummy off the bottle cap lol
