Traveling with Shilajit Gummies – Tips & Experiences?
Hey everyone! I’m heading on a cross-country flight next week and want to bring my shilajit gummies. Anyone know if they melt easily? Also, any issues with TSA? I usually keep them in my carry-on. Thanks!
I’ve taken mine on road trips in hot cars and they got a little soft but didn’t completely melt. I’d suggest keeping them in a cool bag or insulated pouch if you’re flying. TSA didn’t bat an eye when I had them in my carry-on last time.
I’d be careful if you’re keto – some shilajit gummies have added sugars. But for TSA, they’re fine. I put ’em in a small pill bottle and never had issues. For melting, just don’t leave them in direct sun.
From a chemistry perspective, shilajit is a humic substance that can degrade above 140°F. Airplane cabins are usually cool enough, but if you’re hiking in hot weather, consider a portable cooler. Also, check the TSA website; supplements are allowed as long as they’re solid – gummies are fine.
Awesome, thanks everyone! I’ll grab an insulated pouch and be fine. Appreciate the tips – especially the keto warning XenonX445! 😄
