Okay, I'm seriously questioning these sleep gummies my daughter bought. They have 4g of sugar per gummy! That's basically candy. How is this a health supplement? We might as well give her a lollipop before bed. I thought we were past the 'gummy = healthy' phase. Anyone else concerned about the sugar content in these things?

You're not alone! I've been saying this forever. The 'candy-fication' of supplements is a marketing gimmick. I only buy organic gummies sweetened with natural fruit juice or stevia. But even then, they're still processed. Have you considered trying a tincture or a powder? You can mix it in a tea or water. It's more 'real' and you control what goes in it.

Agreed! The sugar is unnecessary. I'm on a strict no-added-sugar diet. I found some brands that use erythritol or monk fruit. But honestly, even those have a weird aftertaste. I ended up going with a liquid melatonin dropper. Zero sugar, zero fuss. Maybe your daughter would like the taste of a chamomile tea with a dropper of melatonin? It's more natural.

I'm keto, so I totally get it. But let's be real: gummies are convenient. I just read the labels very carefully. I use a brand that sweetens with allulose and has only 1g net carbs. It's not perfect, but it helps me stay consistent. And honestly, the sugar in some gummies is better than not sleeping at all. I say, if it works, don't knock it. Just find the cleanest option that fits your lifestyle.
