My kid thought sleep gummies were candy, ate 4!

So my 5 year old decided the sleep gummies were "fruit snacks" and ate 4 before I caught him. He was out cold by 6pm, but now I'm panicking about dosage. Anyone else had this happen? These things taste way too good!

Oh no, that is scary but also kind of funny! I preach mindfulness even with supplements - maybe keep them in a high cabinet or lockbox? My kids know the rule: "gummies are medicine, not candy." Hope he slept okay!

Ugh, the taste-baiting is real. I wish they'd make them less appealing. At least they're organic? But seriously, child-proof lids people! I label mine "DO NOT EAT - SLEEP AIDS" with a skull. Overkill? Maybe. But my 3yo can't read yet.

Retired nurse here. 4 gummies for a 5yo is not ideal but likely not dangerous if they're standard 5mg each. Monitor for drowsiness, confusion, or trouble waking. Most kids just sleep it off. But yes, lock 'em up! We see too many ER visits for this.
