Hey everyone, I've been trying these sleep gummies for a week now and I'm really concerned about the sugar content. The bottle says 3g per serving, but that's still added sugar! Aren't supplements supposed to be about health? Feels like we're just candy-fying everything for convenience. What happened to pure herbal tinctures or capsules without all the junk?

Totally agree Daphne! As someone on a strict paleo/keto diet, I avoid sugar like the plague. These gummies are a nightmare for anyone watching their carb intake. I tried one brand and it spiked my blood sugar so bad I was awake all night - ironic for sleep aids! Stick to magnesium glycinate capsules or valerian root tea. Real supplements don't need to taste like candy.

I get where you're coming from, but as a digital nomad constantly moving between time zones, the convenience is everything. Can't exactly brew herbal tea on a 14-hour flight or carry bottles of liquid tinctures through security. The gummies work for me and 3g sugar is less than most energy bars. Sometimes practicality wins over purity.

Fellow nomad here! RhinoRich has a point about convenience, but I found some sugar-free options sweetened with stevia. They're not perfect but better than the sugary ones. Still, I worry about the gelatin (often not grass-fed) and artificial colors in many brands. Maybe we need a middle ground - convenient but cleaner formulations?

Thanks for the input everyone! Cathy, those sugar-free ones still have fillers and binders I wouldn't trust. Kevin - yes to magnesium glycinate! That's what I use now instead. Rich, I understand the travel struggle, but maybe try melatonin spray? Smaller and no sugar. We shouldn't have to choose between convenience and actual health benefits. The supplement industry needs to do better!
