OK I know sleep gummies are supposed to be a thing but can we talk about how they literally look like gummy bears? My 5yo just swiped my bottle and ate three before I caught him. He's now dancing on the kitchen table at 9pm. Thanks, supplement industry, for making meds look like candy. #parentingfail

Oh nooo! We've all been there, LunarLily. My husband once mistook my melatonin gummies for sour worms and ate a handful before bed. Slept like a log but then was groggy for 2 days. Pro tip: keep them in a high cabinet or a locked box. And maybe switch to those capsules that look like horse pills so no one mistakes them. 😂

I feel you, LunarLily. I'm a chef, so texture is a big deal for me. My kids hate the 'slimy' feel of some gummies - they call them 'slug chews'. I had to bribe them with a spoon of honey just to try a sleep gummy. But now that they like them, I hide them in a ziplock bag labeled 'dog treats' so no one touches em. Works like a charm... or a sleep charm? 🤷

Update: he crashed about 30 min ago. But now I'm paranoid he'll get into anything sweet-looking. Might just stick to tea for now. Flora, the horse pill idea is actually smart - if it tastes gross they won't want it. Liam, lol at 'slug chews'! Relatable.

Tea is good! I use valerian root tea sometimes. But yeah, the gummy thing is real. I think a lot of parents have had that moment. Just be glad it wasn't magnesium gummies - those give you the runs if you eat too many! At least melatonin just makes you drowsy. 😅
