Hey everyone! I stumbled upon this study about ashwagandha softgels and stress reduction (PMID: 34567890). It claims a 30% drop in cortisol after 8 weeks. Sounds too good to be true? I'm always skeptical about supplement studies funded by big pharma. What do you all think? 🤔

I've been taking ashwagandha for a few months now (not softgels though, I prefer powder in my morning smoothie). I definitely feel less stressed, but 30% seems high. Always check the sample size and conflicts of interest. Who funded it? If it's a university with no ties to supplement companies, it's more reliable.

Yeah, I read that one. It was a randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial, so that's promising. But the sample size was only 60 people. Also, they used a patented extract called KSM-66, which is known to be well-researched. Not saying it's biased, but always take single studies with a grain of salt. I'd look for meta-analyses.

I've been recommending ashwagandha softgels to my followers for months! (Not sponsored, lol). Personally, my clients report feeling more balanced, not so much a huge drop but steady. The study might be legit, but remember that supplements affect everyone differently. Start low and see how you feel. Also, check if the softgel has any fillers or additives that might reduce efficacy.
