Lipid softgels - hype or help?
Just read this article about lipid formulations in softgels - sounds like they're the next big thing for making supplements actually work!? I'm curious what you all think. Are lipid softgels really that much better than regular capsules? #supplementnerd
Oh, I've been taking my fish oil softgels for years, but I never thought about the lipid part. My grandkids take gummy vitamins, but they don't absorb well for some things. This lipid thing might be why my arthritis meds work better in softgel form? I'll pass this along to my doctor.
As a busy mom who forgets to eat healthy, this is intriguing. My gummy vitamins are convenient but if they're not actually absorbing, what's the point? I'd switch to lipid softgels if they really boost absorption - even if they're a bit bigger. Do they taste bad?
Honestly, I'm a granola mom and prefer natural sources. But for supplements we can't avoid (like vitamin D), lipid softgels seem logical since fats help absorption. I've seen brands using olive oil or MCT oil in softgels - those are real food ingredients! That I can get behind.
