So my 4-year-old found the bottle of gummy vitamins I thought I'd hidden well. He somehow opened it and ate maybe 10 before I caught him. He said they were "yummy bears" and was mad I took them away. Any of you had your kids go full candy mode on these? Not really concerned about toxicity but how do you keep them out of reach?

haha yep, my 3-year-old did the same a few months ago. Now I keep them in a locked cabinet in the kitchen. Honestly, the bottle is too tempting. I've also started buying the ones in blister packs so they're way harder to open.

My husband actually did that once - he thought they were gummy candies and ate like 15 before I stopped him. He said they weren't as sweet as normal candy lol. Now I hide them and don't tell him haha. But for real, get a lockbox or keep them up high in a closet.

I use a timed lockbox for all supplements! Kids are clever little monkeys. Also, I've found that the pectin-based ones are less appealing to my daughter, she says they're too chewy. Maybe try switching brands? But yeah, education and high shelves are key.
