My gummies turned white and hard - safe to eat?

So I've had these gummy vitamins for a few months now, and I noticed they're getting hard and have this white powdery stuff on them. They also stick together in the bottle. Are they still safe to eat? I don't want to waste them but also don't want to get sick.

Same thing happened to my omega-3 gummies! I think it's just sugar bloom from temperature changes. I still ate them and was fine. But if they smell weird or taste off, maybe toss 'em.

In my experience, that's just crystallization of the sugar or gelatin. It's not harmful, but the texture might be less appealing. You could try warming them slightly to soften, but honestly I'd just eat them as long as they're not past expiration. I've taken ones like that and no issues.

I agree with the bloom thing. If they're not expired and don't have any mold, they're probably fine. But I try to store mine in a cool, dry place to avoid that. I've also heard you can separate them with a little bit of coconut oil or something. But yeah, safe to eat IMO.
