Just read this article about lipid formulations in softgels and how they boost bioavailability. Sounds promising for supplements! Anyone have experience with lipid-based softgels vs regular? #Softgels #Bioavailability

Honestly, I just take the cheapest vitamins that work. All this lipid stuff is overhyped. My body does fine with basic softgels or even tablets. Just eat well and exercise.

Actually, it's not overhyped. Lipid formulations can significantly increase absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and some actives. The science is solid. I prefer softgels with lipid bases for my D3 and K2 combo. Feels more effective based on my blood work.

I've tried both. Regular softgels work, but lipid-based ones seem to give me more consistent energy (I take CoQ10 and omega-3s). It's worth the extra cost for better absorption, especially as a fitness person. If you're on a budget, just pair regular softgels with a meal containing healthy fats – that helps too!

Thanks for the insights! Good point about healthy fats. I'll check the label for lipid bases next time. Appreciate the replies :)
