Hey everyone! So I started taking these new softgel multivitamins about a week ago (the ones with added herbal blend) and OMG my dreams have been insane. Like, last night I dreamt I was a carrot in a salad and the croutons were plotting against me. It's not scary, just super vivid and weird. I kinda like it? But also wondering if this is normal. Anyone else experience this with softgels? I'm new to this brand so just curious. Thanks!

Oh honey, that's more common than you think. I'm a retired nurse and I've heard patients mention vivid dreams with certain supplements, especially if they contain B6 or melatonin. Softgels can have different absorption rates too. As long as it's not disturbing your sleep, it's probably harmless. But if you're concerned, check the label for anything like valerian root or passionflower. Stay curious! ;)

Funny you mention it. I've been taking fish oil softgels for months and never had that. But my wife tried a new brand and said her taste buds went wonky – everything tasted metallic for a couple days. Could be the gelatin or something in the softgel itself? I'd say keep a diary of what you eat and when you take them. Might be unrelated. Also, carrot dream sounds epic lol.

Thanks IndigoIris34 and BioBob696! I checked the label and it does have B6 and some herbal stuff like ashwagandha. Maybe that's it. The metallic taste thing is interesting too – I haven't had that, but my pee has been neon yellow. Is that TMI? Sorry! Just figured this is the place to ask. I'll keep a diary, good idea. And yeah, that carrot dream was something else. Might write a sci-fi story about it.

Neon yellow pee is totally normal with B vitamins – it's just your body flushing out the excess riboflavin. Nothing to worry about unless it persists without the vitamins. And don't worry about TMI, we're all friends here. Keep us posted on the dream saga! :)
