Hey everyone, so I tried making my own super green gummies at home to save some cash (student budget life lol). Used gelatin, spinach powder, spirulina, and a multivitamin powder I had. But they came out all rubbery and tasted like pond water?? Anyone have a good recipe or tips? I don't wanna waste more ingredients!

Oh no, Ursula! I've made gummies with agar agar for my hiking trips - nature photographer here, need energy on the go! Try agar instead of gelatin, it sets firmer. Also, maybe add a bit of honey or stevia? The green powders can be bitter. What mold did you use? I use silicone leaf shapes, makes them cute for photos!

Blessings, dear ones! As a holistic healer, I blend chlorella, matcha, and ashwagandha in mine. Your batch might need balancing energies - try adding citrus juice (vitamin C helps absorption!) and a pinch of Himalayan salt to mellow bitterness. Also, are you using filtered water? Tap water vibrations can disrupt the mix.

Keto believer here - gelatin is great for collagen, but rubbery texture means too much or wrong temp. Did you bloom it first? For low-carb sweetener, I use erythritol. Also, skip spinach powder, go for pure spirulina or wheatgrass - fewer carbs. Maybe your vitamin powder has fillers that messed it up? Check the label!

Thanks guys!! Yuri, I used an ice cube tray lol, maybe that's why? Tina, I'll try lemon juice next time - and yes, tap water, oops. Elias, I didn't bloom the gelatin, just mixed it in hot water. Gonna try agar and less powder next batch. Fingers crossed! Any ratio tips for agar vs liquid?
