Kids vs. Super Green Gummies: Anyone Else's Kiddo Hooked?
So my 6yo thinks the Super Green Gummies are candy (well, they ARE gummies lol). I caught him sneaking a handful this morning. I had to hide the bottle now. Anyone else deal with this? How do you keep the kids out of these? 😂
Oh girl, story of my life! My little one did the same thing. Now I keep the bottle in a high cabinet away from their sight, and I only take it when they're not around. But yeah, the texture is chewy, maybe that's why they like it. I also try to model taking it with water and explain it's like a 'special treat' for adults only.
Haha, my wife mistook them for her fiber gummies once and almost took a double dose. But seriously, those green gummies are addictive! I can't blame the kid. Maybe keep them in the fridge? The texture changes, might make it less 'candy-like' and more like a supplement. 🤷♂️
I have the opposite problem. My teenage son refuses to eat them because of the 'weird texture'. He says they're 'too hard' or something. But I'm a runner and I need my greens. I just tell him, 'buddy, that's your loss, more for me 😂'. But seriously, maybe try cutting them in half? Not for the kids, but for the texture-averse. Works for my son sometimes.
Great tips! I'll try the fridge idea, but I'm pretty sure my little tyke would eat them frozen too. Might have to put a lock on the pantry 😂. Thanks all!
