My kid thinks my Super Greens are candy - and now my husband won't share!

OK so I bought the Super Green Gummies for myself (need that extra veggie boost, you know?) and my 6yo saw the bottle on the counter. He goes 'Mom, can I have a gummy?' I said no, these are for adults, not candy. Well, fast forward to today, I catch him sneaking into the kitchen, standing on a chair, trying to open the child-proof cap. He's determined! 😂 I had to hide them in the back of the pantry. Anyone else have this problem? Or better yet, my husband tried one and now he's hooked, but he refuses to share 'his' gummies with me, says I have enough vitamins. Haha.

Haha, that's classic! My dog tried to eat them once, but that's another story. But seriously, I can see why kids would confuse them - they look and smell just like those fruit snacks. I have to keep mine in a drawer with a combo lock, but then I forget the combo lol. Maybe get one of those child-proof medicine bottles? Or just tell them it's 'adult candy' and if they eat too many they'll get a tummy ache. worked for my niece.

I'm a bit skeptical about these 'super greens' gummies anyway - are they actually effective? But to the point, I have a similar story: my husband thought they were just regular gummies and ate a handful before bed. He said he woke up with the weirdest dreams. 😅 But for the kid issue, I'd recommend talking to a pediatrician before letting them have any - better safe than sorry. And maybe find a more secure spot, like a lockbox.

Been there! My son is 8 and he's convinced they're 'mommy's secret candy'. I had to sit him down and explain they're like medicine, not sweets. Now he's scared of them, which is good but also funny. He'll point at the bottle and say 'that's icky medicine' lol. On the flip side, I've started making my own green gummies at home with spinach and fruit juice - the texture is different, but he actually likes them better? Might be a fun project if you're into that - but I'm a bit of a food nerd.
