THREAD: My Super Green Gummies look weird - are they still safe to eat?Started by OP

Hey everyone, hoping for some advice. I've been taking Super Green Gummies for about a month now, but I just opened a new bottle and they look... off. They're usually soft and bright green, but these are kinda pale and have white spots on them. Some are stuck together too. They don't smell bad, but I'm worried. Has anyone else had this happen? Are they still safe to take?

OP, I feel you - night shift here and I rely on these to keep my energy up. Had something similar last winter. Mine got hard as rocks and had that white stuff (sugar bloom, I think it's called). I emailed the company and they said it's usually from humidity changes or temperature swings. They sent me a replacement bottle. Probably safe if they're not moldy, but I'd contact customer service. My night crew buddy ate his anyway and was fine, but YMMV.

omg yes this happened to me too!! sleep deprived parent of a toddler here so i need these gummies to function lol. mine got all sticky and clumped together in the bottle. i was worried about giving them to my kid but my pediatrician said as long as they're not expired and no mold, it's usually just the sugar coating reacting to moisture. she said texture changes don't mean they're unsafe, just might not taste as good. i still ate mine... desperate times 😅 maybe store them somewhere cooler?

Fascinating! As a blogger who writes about nostalgic health trends, I've seen this discussion before. The white spots are indeed sugar bloom - it happens when moisture draws sugar to the surface, then it recrystallizes. Texture changes can occur if they're exposed to heat or humidity. While likely safe if within expiration date, quality is compromised. Reminds me of when old fruit snacks would fuse together in my lunchbox as a kid! I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer for a fresh batch - they usually have good quality control.
