Super Green Gummies - Are we just eating candy with vitamins?

Hey everyone, I just tried those new Super Green Gummies and I'm kinda disappointed. They taste like candy (which I get is the point), but I checked the label and there's 5g of sugar per serving! I'm trying to be healthy here, not add more sugar to my diet. Are we just fooling ourselves with these 'convenient' supplements? I'd rather take a pill and know exactly what I'm getting without the extra junk.

Finally someone says it! I've been skeptical of this whole gummy trend from the start. It's just marketing to make supplements 'fun' - but health isn't supposed to be fun, it's supposed to be effective. These companies are preying on people who hate swallowing pills. The sugar content is bad enough, but have you seen the artificial colors and flavors? Stick to whole foods and real greens, not candy-fied versions.

I get where you're coming from, but as someone who struggles to remember to take ANYTHING consistently, the gummies work for me. I'm already drinking 4 cups of coffee daily (working on it!), so remembering a pill is impossible. The sugar is a concern tho - maybe they could make sugar-free versions? But honestly, if it gets me to actually take my greens, isn't that better than nothing?

Mila, I feel you - I'm juggling work, family, and trying to stay healthy. The convenience factor is huge for me. I tried the powder greens before and never stuck with it because mixing it was one more thing to do. The gummies are right there on my desk. Yeah, the sugar isn't ideal, but it's 5g vs the 20g in my morning latte. Everything's a trade-off when you're busy. Maybe there's a middle ground - lower sugar options?
