Super Green Gummies: Too much sugar?
Just tried Super Green Gummies and they taste like candy. 7g of sugar per serving? That's crazy. Why do we need sugar in our greens? Might as well eat a real vegetable. This 'candy-fication' of supplements is making me sick.
PurePete846 I get your point, but convenience matters. I'm a biohacker and I track everything. The sugar is negligible when you factor in the nutrient density. Also, the taste makes it easier to stick to the habit. Would you rather people not take any greens at all?
I'm with Pete on this. I use a powder with no sugar and just mix it with water. It's not that hard. Gummies are a marketing gimmick. Plus, all that sugar spikes insulin. Not worth it for me.
As a CrossFit junkie, I need quick energy post-workout. The sugar in these gummies actually helps with recovery. It's not like I'm eating a whole bag. Moderation, people. Plus, they taste good. #noshame
UrbanUma278 there are better ways to get quick energy. Dates, honey, even a banana. Why pay extra for sugar-coated gummies? It's just marketing. And GummyGuru685, agree with you on insulin spikes. This stuff adds up over time.
