THREAD: Super Green Gummies - Are they worth the hype or just overpriced candy?Started by BioBob27

Hey everyone, BioBob27 here. I've been tracking the Super Green Gummies trend for a while now. As a biohacker, I'm always looking for efficient ways to optimize nutrition without spending hours in the kitchen. These gummies claim to pack a full serving of greens in a tasty format - but I'm skeptical about bioavailability. Has anyone done blood work before/after using these? I'd love to see actual data on nutrient absorption rates rather than just marketing claims.

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad this thread exists! As a mom trying to get my kids to eat anything green, I was desperate enough to try these. My 8-year-old actually asks for them every morning now - it's a miracle! But I have concerns about the ingredients. The label says 'natural flavors' and 'organic cane sugar' - how much sugar are we really talking about here? And are the greens truly organic? I don't want to trade one problem for another.

I've been using Super Green Gummies for about 3 weeks now, and honestly? I'm not impressed. For the price ($35 for a 30-day supply!), I expected more noticeable results. My energy levels haven't changed much, and I still feel like I need my morning smoothie. Plus, the texture is a bit too chewy for my taste. Has anyone else found them underwhelming? Maybe I'm just not the target demographic (I'm 44 and pretty active already).

OrganicOlivia44 - That's exactly what I suspected. Without proper testing, we're just guessing about efficacy. Olivia (the first one) - you raise a good point about sugar content. Most 'healthy' gummies I've analyzed have 3-5g of sugar per serving, which adds up. Have either of you compared the nutritional profile to actual greens? I'm calculating that you'd need to eat about 2 cups of spinach to get equivalent vitamins, but the fiber content in gummies is usually negligible.

BioBob27, you're making me reconsider! I checked my bottle - 4g of sugar per serving (2 gummies). That's like a teaspoon of sugar every morning! Maybe I should go back to hiding spinach in smoothies. But the convenience factor is huge for busy parents... Has anyone found a truly low-sugar alternative that kids will actually eat? Or am I better off making my own gummies with pureed greens?

Update: I decided to finish my bottle and track symptoms more carefully. After 30 days total, I noticed slightly better digestion (less bloating), but nothing dramatic. For me, the cost isn't justified. OrganicOlivia - I've seen recipes for homemade green gummies using gelatin and spinach/kale puree. Might be worth trying if you have the time! BioBob27 - would love to hear if you find any third-party testing on these products.
