Traveling with Super Green Gummies - melt risk & TSA?
Hey everyone! I’m heading on a hiking trip next week and want to bring my Super Green Gummies for easy greens on the go. But I’m worried they’ll melt in my bag or get flagged by TSA. Any tips on traveling with these? Do they hold up in heat? I’m flying and then doing some long hikes. Thanks!
I’ve taken these on a few flights, no issues with TSA. They’re just supplements, so I toss them in my carry-on with my other vitamins. Just keep them in the original bottle to avoid questions. As for melting, they can get a little soft in hot weather, but they firm back up. I’d keep them in a cooler bag if you’re hiking in the heat!
Omg, I remember my first time taking gummies on a road trip. I left them in the car and they turned into a blob! 😂 So def don’t leave them in a hot car. For hiking, I put them in a small insulated pouch. TSA has never given me grief – I’ve even had them in my personal item. Just don’t try to bring a whole year supply lol.
Seconding what others said about TSA – they’re fine. I travel for work all the time and never had a problem. One tip: if you’re worried about melting, you can actually freeze them before your trip. They thaw fine and don’t lose potency. Just don’t refreeze after they’ve melted. Enjoy your hikes!
