Airborne vs Emergen-C: Which one do you trust?
Just read this article comparing Airborne and Emergen-C for immune health. Curious what you all think? Do you use either? I've been on the fence about trying one.
Honestly, both are overpriced vitamin C with extra stuff. Your body just pees out the excess. If you want immune support, eat an orange and get some sleep. But hey, if it makes you feel better, go for it.
I've used Emergen-C during cold season for years. I feel like it helps me bounce back faster, but maybe it's just the placebo effect. I like the fizzy taste though. Haven't tried Airborne much.
As a retired nurse, I've seen people rely on these for quick fixes. They can be useful for vitamin C supplementation, especially if you don't get enough fruits/veg. But the high doses can cause stomach upset. I'd personally choose whole food sources or a simple vitamin C gummy. Moderation is key.
I prefer the gummy form because they're easier on my stomach. But I agree with Tom, check the sugar content! Some of these have a lot. Anyway, thanks for sharing the article, OP!
