Hey everyone! I need to get a gift for my mom (she's 65) and my best friend (he's a gym rat). Both want something for health. I'm thinking vitamin C gummies cause they're easy. But I'm on a student budget. Any cheap but good brands? Mom hates sour, friend wants high dose. Help!

I feel u on the budget! I get the Nature's Bounty vitamin C gummies on Amazon - they're like $10 for a 2-month supply. Not too sour, my mom likes em. For your friend, maybe look for elderberry + C gummies with zinc? Garden of Life has a good one but pricier. Or just get separate C gummies for both and add a cheap protein bar for your friend?

Wait, check if your mom takes any meds first - vitamin C can interact with some. Also, gummies often have sugar, which older folks might not need. My mom uses the Nature Made Vitamin C gummies (no artificial sweeteners) and they're gentle. For your fitness friend, maybe a powdered vitamin C with electrolytes? Gummies never have enough for serious athletes. Just my 2 cents.

LOL @ 'sleep-deprived parent' tag - accurate. I'd say go with Olly's vitamin C gummies. They're tasty and not too expensive. My kids love 'em and they're not too sour. For your friend, maybe add a bottle of magnesium gummies for recovery? But if you're on a budget, just get the Olly for both and call it a day. Keep it simple!
