Hey everyone! I'm trying to get healthier but I'm always in a rush. I take Vitamin C gummies in the morning, but I also need my coffee to function. Is it safe to take them together? Will the coffee mess with absorption or anything? I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my gummies.

I wouldn't mix them. Coffee is acidic and can degrade vitamin C before you even absorb it. Also, if your gummies have sugar, coffee + sugar = blood sugar spike. Better to wait 30 min after coffee, or take them with water only. I always do that with my sugar-free ones.

Actually, I've read that vitamin C is water-soluble so you can take it with anything. But coffee might make you pee it out faster? Not sure. I'm more concerned about the gummies being vegan. Did you check the label? Most have gelatin. Anyway, I'd say it's probably fine, just don't rely on it as your only source.

From my experience, it's fine. I take my kids' vitamin C gummies with their orange juice in the morning and they're fine. Coffee is just a drink. I'd say combine it with a balanced snack like a banana or nuts to avoid jitters. But listen to your body. If it feels okay, go for it!

Thanks for the tips! I think I'll take them with water and wait a bit before coffee, just to be safe. SproutSid70, good point about sugar. I'll check the label, RhinoRich369. And ZenZoe970, I'll try the snack idea too. Appreciate it!
