Just read this article - thought it was interesting. As a nurse, I've seen a lot of supplement fads come and go. The dermatologists quoted seem cautious, which I like. But I'm curious what others think - do you trust these beauty vitamins? I've always told my patients to focus on a balanced diet first.

I'm a grandparent, and I've been giving my granddaughter those gummy vitamins for her nails. She's a teen and always biting them! The article mentions biotin and collagen - is that safe for a teenager? I want to do what's best, but there's so much conflicting info.

Personally, I'm skeptical of most 'beauty' supplements. As a fitness pro, I preach whole foods. However, I do take a vitamin C gummy to support my immune system during intense training. The article says vitamin C is crucial for collagen production - so maybe those gummies help indirectly? But I'm not gonna shell out for fancy hair pills.

Honestly, I just like the taste! But I also have a massive sweet tooth. I take a multi-vitamin gummy that includes biotin and vitamin C. It's convenient and satisfies my candy craving. I know it's not a magic fix, but I figure it can't hurt. I do wonder about the sugar content though - some gummies are basically candy with vitamins.
