Is this Vitamin C gummy study legit or just Big Pharma propaganda?
Hey guys, found this study about vitamin C gummies and thought it was interesting but I'm a bit skeptical. It says they're as effective as pills, which is great, but the study was funded by a gummy company. What do you think? Is this legit or just marketing fluff? Here's the link: [PMID: 12345678]
Honestly, I never trust studies funded by the industry. But I have to say, I switched from pills to gummies a while back and my levels are fine. My doctor even said my vitamin C is good. Placebo effect? Maybe, but I feel better. Plus they taste awesome, which is a plus lol.
As a vegan, I'm more concerned about what's in the gummies – gelatine, artificial colors, all that junk. I only buy plant-based ones. But regarding the study, it's typical big pharma trying to push their products. I'd rather get my vitamin C from whole foods like oranges. Natural is always better. Just saying.
Fair points. I guess I'll just keep taking my gummies but not obsess over the science. As long as they work, I'm good. Thanks for the input guys!
